Romeo 3, Taxiway, Stansted Airport

Romeo 3 is departing aircraft holding area between the Runway and Taxiway at Stansted Airport. This project required the rapid break out and repair by replacement of defective pavement to 400mm deep. Sawcutting through the existing multiple layers of blacktop produced a good vertical edge to form the new rapid cure concrete replacement - ready for aircraft traffic the following day. High strength, rapid cure, PQ concrete was designed by RMC.
